Medical education is a complex experience for the learner and for the educator. Difficulties occur when changing the old methods of teaching to current new instructional media methods. The educators role is to facilitate real life experiences through distant technology methods. VR (virtual reality) technology has been developed to create real life learning experiences with virtual reality technology . The technology is created by using computer graphics, audio technology, sensory devices, pattern recognition and image processing, thus, simulating the experience for the learner to see, touch, hear and feel. The educators role to introduce VR technology will be to develop and deliver new modern methods of teaching to the learner.
